Prof. Wesley Shankland
Professor Shankland is the author of over 100 scientific papers relating to TMD, and author of 4 books.  He is Professor of the Graduate School at the University of Integrated Studies; Director of Anatomy, Scripts Research and Dental Implants Institute in San Diego; Director of Anatomy of the Midwest Implant Institute.

He is editor of The Journal of Neurological and Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery, and editor of The Journal of Orofacial Pain.  Achievements include Presidency of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.  He is also a member of the American Association for the Study of Headaches.  In addition, Professor Shanklands practice has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of Craniofacial Pain, Headaches, and Temporomandibular Disorders since 1983.
