Dr. Richard Hing
Richard Hing is a doubly-qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in full-time private in Hawthorn, Clayton and Mitcham. He has been active as a visiting lecturer for the undergraduate dentistry course at the University of Melbourne and in the Royal College as a tutor for the Victorian FRACDS candidates.

He has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and currently, has a special interest in using cutting edge radiological imaging to assess the position of the mandibular canal prior to lower third molar and dental implant surgery.

Dr Hing won the coveted Stryker-Leibinger Award for his paper "CT scan assessment of presurgical risk to the inferior alveolar nerve from third molar surgery" which was presented at the XXII biennial conference of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Adelaide.
