Taiseer Sulaiman, PhD, is a Tenured Associate Professor and Director of Advanced Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials Research at the Adams School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his clinical certificate in Operative Dentistry at UNC and his PhD in Dental Materials from the University of Turku, Finland. A practicing clinician and researcher, his work focuses on dental ceramics, adhesion, cements, color and appearance, and biomimetics, with over 80 publications to his name. An active member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of Operative Dentistry (Councilor), he is a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences and a reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed journals.
