Dr Allan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 1982. He gained his Master’s in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1991. His surgical training took place in Australia, the UK and USA. Dr Allan is currently working as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in private practice. His previous international appointments include being a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington, Seattle, and the Children’s Hospital and University Medical Centre in Seattle, USA.
