Ms. Stavroula Zandes background is in psychology and working with Quit Victoria, Cancer Council of Victoria, for 20 years in tobacco control. She provided smoking cessation training in the areas of acute care, oral health, general practice, pharmacy, community health, pregnancy, and Aboriginal health. Stav has a strong understanding of smoking behaviour and cessation, having interviewed many smokers and trained thousands of health and community professionals. Her relationships with these organisations inspired her to continue to work and train in this area. As a result, she established Health & Wellbeing Training Consultants in 2013.
Stav has been involved in presentations throughout Victoria, interstate, and overseas in Kiribati, one of the South Pacific islands, and presented at the International Tobacco Control Conference in Washington DC.
