This lecture will help the general practitioner involved in treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Temporomandibular Joint Disorder patients understand the timing for surgical intervention. Diagnostic modalities, proper and current knowledge of the pathologies involved will be explored. Importance of proper airway, function, occlusion, facial profiles, and factors that lead to a stable outcome. Various surgical interventions from conservative to definitive will be discussed with case series and long-term follow ups.
